Infinity 5Unique luxurious blend
Dormeuil celebrated with great pride in 2012 its 170-year history of working with the most beautiful fibres sourced from around the world. The creation of the Infinity collection the same year was a statement of the continuing aesthetic quality consistently produced by the House. The high standards achieved can be seen throughout the collection, where the elegance of the fabric is only matched by its exceptional performance. The collection has been expanded over the years and today sees the unveiling Infinity volume 5 in the series, highlighting in particular the fineness of the fabrics, woven in our prestigious factories in England.
Infinity volume 5 takes its place alongside the most prestigious creations from the House, forming a seamless blend; the luxurious fibres at their heart are chosen by Dominic Dormeuil himself and selected from the most beautiful parts of the world.
The new season’s cloth is composed of a unique mix of fibres; 50% Australian Super 200's wool, 35% beautiful Mongolian cashmere and 15% very fine Chinese silk. The use of this yarn with its unique intimate blend of luxury fibres has a carefully designed twist which gives the fabric its stability, ensuring it holds its shape perfectly over time.
Infinity volume 5 is an exceptionally soft fabric, thanks to its combination of Super 200's Merino and cashmere. It can catch the light, giving it the stylish sheen so sought after in a high quality suit. The discreet sheen achieved is a perfect match for micro-motifs in grey and blue and tone-on-tone stripes, playing with the light of the silk - like virtuosos interpreting a delicate musical score, one might say.
